What is the Pleinotheek?
The Pleinotheek is a combination of: neighbourhood toy library, kiosk, vending machine, exhibition, book exchange library, information point and meeting place. The blue-green building is located on Berlijnplein and is open to visitors from April to September. Our Pleinotheek manager runs the Pleinotheek together with a team of friendly volunteers. But we can always use extra help. Are you the host we are looking for?
Job description
Plandelen = walking + picking up plastic
A few hours of plandelen will make your neighbourhood a lot greener and put you well on your way to reaching 10,000 steps. You will also be contributing to a cleaner planet. Because if a quarter of the population picked up three pieces of litter every day, the Netherlands would be clean within a week. As the square is used a lot, there is often litter to be found, which is why we are looking for reinforcements for our regular litter picker, Johan. Are you his new colleague?

What we expect from you
- Satisfaction in cleaning up public spaces
- A high degree of independence
- Approximately 3 hours per week on 1 fixed day
- Even if you are learning Dutch or speak a little, you are welcome.
